| Recap |
| "JUST WIN BABY" says Al Davis and his Los Angeles Raiders went
out and did just that. The Raiders whole team helped them race of too
a 21-3 half time lead. Special teams scored first with a blocked punt
then the offence got on the board with a Plunkett to Bramch pass for a
touchdown and then finally the defence got in on the act with an interception
returned for a touchdown by Squirek.
On the last play of the third quarter Marcus Allen took off on a 74 yard
TD run that confirmed for that the game was over.
At the time this was the largest margin of victory in Superbowl history.
Allen's 191 yards rushing was another Superbowl record.
