Preparing For The Draft
March 10, 2009, 10:43 pm
The Raiders have managed to resigned their two biggest free agents in Nnamdi and Shane. They have restructured the contract of Javon Walker into something that is more manageable given his complete lack of production last year. Some chaff was let go thankfully.

All in all a pretty decent set of moves there.

The bad? Well Javon Walker still being on the roster is possibly one but given the cap hit to cut him it wasn't really an option and he was a team player with the contract reworking he allowed to happen. Jake Grove leaving is a shame but given the contract he got with the Dolphins it was better he leave than the Raiders pay that for his talents given his often injured status.
