Plummer looked pretty good early last season which was something of a shock to me but the Denver ship wasn't as good as it seemed. The now departed Clinton Portis made everything seem better on offence. Eddie "the Dive" McCaffery retired, so we'll see no more oscar worthy performances from the him unless he's planning a move to Hollywood now.

We'll Denver are again competing for the division title but the Raiders win at their place Sunday night make the upcoming game against the Chargers a must win for them. Champ Bailey will have to rebound after getting burnt by the Raiders recievers.

The media darlings last season or at least for much of it. In typical Chiefs fashion (typical for when they get to this situation which isn't often) choked down the stretch and in the play offs. As with the season before defense was their undoing or rather the lack of it.

Defense is still the achiles heel for this team. The offense isn't as potent as it was a year ago and so the Chiefs are now looking up at the rest of the AFC West (including the Raiders).

The Chargers don't have a team they have shambles. Can Shotty rebuild quickly enough to remain their head coach ? I've no idea but if they waste a pick on Manning in the draft rather than on a real need position then they'll remain the laughing stock of this division for me!

Well it appears this ship has been turned around. A win over Denver this weekend will go along way to sealing a division title for this team - scary isn't it.
