The Raiders Draft Day Trades:

Trade #1: Oakland traded their 21st overall pick and their 3rd round pick to Washington for Washington's first round pick (18th overall).

Trade #2: Oakland traded the pick they got from Washington (18th overall) and their 5th round pick to Atlanta for their 1st round pick (17th overall).

Draft Notes:

Getting Phillip Buchanon in the first round prepared the Raiders for the possible retirement of Eric Allen (which appears to be in process now) and should solidify the corner position for years too come.

Napoleon Harris is another fine selection that can play any of the linebacker positions and in recent mini-camps has been seen working out at middle linebacker (Greg Biekert watch out).
